“The watch at the heart of your health”, new Withings campaign which facilitates the prevention of cardiovascular accidents at home.

Withings launches a multi-channel campaign featuring ScanWatch 2, the ultra-advanced connected watch capable of detecting atrial fibrillation, a heart rhythm disorder responsible for up to 30% of strokes¹.

In a context of an explosion in chronic diseases, Withings, the world leader in connected health and multi-awarded at CES in Las Vegas, is deploying a multi-channel strategy from January 25 to February 22. The campaign highlights Withings’ ultra-powerful watch, the ScanWatch 2, and aims to reinforce the brand’s clinical power positioning, while raising awareness of the early detection, at home, of episodes of atrial fibrillation, which can be warning signs of a stroke. “The watch that changes lives²” Developed in France in collaboration with the best hospitals and clinical institutions, ScanWatch 2 allows you to identify the warning signs of an illness, by monitoring variations in body temperature, to evaluate part of your respiratory system by measuring blood oxygenation, or performing a medical grade electrocardiogram (ECG) to detect a potential cardiac abnormality.

It is on the latter that Withings wanted to emphasize as part of the campaign, an ECG being the only way to effectively diagnose atrial fibrillation³ (AF).

“With this campaign, and by investing in public space, we want to resonate with our products and be as close as possible to what health is, namely real life,” shares Elizabeth Coleon, Marketing Director. “For more 10 years, millions of Withings users can thus monitor their daily health data on their wrist, or at home, with clinical quality.

Our fight is of course to improve health in general, but also and above all to facilitate the link with the medical profession when it becomes necessary.” Prevention on a large scale 1% of French people, or more than 677,000 people⁴, are directly affected by atrial fibrillation, the most common heart rhythm disorder.

Due to the lack of symptoms experienced, and because episodes of AF are temporary, signs of atrial fibrillation are not often recorded at the time of medical consultation. With the ScanWatch 2 watch, everyone can benefit from a real revolution and monitor this clinical data in a non-medical environment, at home. Since 2020, no less than 2 million signs of atrial fibrillation have already been detected using a Withings product with ECG functionality, thus improving care.

Physical (OOH) and digital media The campaign will be visible on 240 platforms and 240 corridors of the Paris metro, particularly on emblematic metro platforms such as Saint-Lazare, Trocadéro, and Expo La Défense. 130 bus shelters and 226 panoramic kiosks in the streets of Paris will be decorated in the colors of the campaign. On the digital side, the spots will be broadcast throughout France with a focus on Paris on Meta and YouTube.
