LITTLE BLUE’S NOODLE BAR OPENS AT
THE PENINSULA LONDON: A CONTEMPORARY TRIBUTE
TO CHINESE NOODLE CULTURE.

The Peninsula London is delighted to announce the opening of Little Blue’s Noodle Bar, a delightful celebration of the timeless magic of Chinese noodles, a culinary tradition beloved in Hong Kong and around the world.

As London’s food scene grows increasingly interested in Chinese noodle culture, Little Blue’s Noodle Bar is the perfect place to indulge this passion in the heart of the British capital. Whether enjoying a light dinner accompanied by Hong Kong’s famous Gweilo Beer, or ordering a takeaway after a theater performance, Little Blue is a must-visit.

With its lively atmosphere and consistent commitment to quality, Little Blue’s Noodle Bar combines practicality with refined flavors, inviting Londoners and visitors alike to discover the richness of Chinese noodles.

Chef Hou’s creations at Little Blue

Four signature noodle dishes pay homage to Chef Hou’s heritage and exceptional training in mainland China, combining his favorite flavors with a classic, authentic style. With decades of experience, Chef Hou brings his expertise to The Peninsula London’s Noodle Bar, working with Chef Jonnie Liang, Executive Sous Chef of The Peninsula Beijing. Guests can experience the spicy depth of Dan Dan Noodles with minced beef and Sichuan peppercorn oil, the comforting richness of Zha Jiang Mian beans with pork belly, the silky, spicy eggplant noodles, and the layered E-Fu noodles with shrimp, ginger, and spring onion.

As part of the launch, the team will also unveil a  secret dish , a discreet nod to Guangzhou’s underground culinary culture. This dish, which will not be on the menu and will be reserved for those in the know, consists of a bowl of noodles with crispy Peking duck. Offered in limited quantities and shrouded in mystery, this off-menu dish promises a surprising and exclusive experience for the curious.

The noodle boxes carefully prepared by Chef Hou can be accompanied by fresh drinks such as Hong Kong’s famous  Gweilo Beer  , or Little Blue’s signature cocktails, inviting everyone on a journey through Chinese culture.

To be enjoyed alone or with friends

Located next to Canton Blue, The Peninsula London’s renowned Cantonese restaurant, Little Blue is a charming spot with its own entrance on Grosvenor Crescent and distinctive cobalt blue lacquered doors. Also accessible without reservation, the Noodle Bar is the perfect spot for a casual meal with friends, a quick snack and a beer on Little Blue’s brand-new terrace, a moment alone at the counter, or to order a takeaway.

Dates and times

Little Blue’s Noodle Bar is open daily.
Boxes start at £15, and beer and noodle combos start at £20.
