- Hyundai Mobis will be attending CES 2026 next month… by hosting a private, invitation-only booth to focus on new business opportunities.
- Highlights include: M.VICS 7.0 integrated cockpit solution, X-by-Wire integrated chassis solution, next-generation displays, etc.
- “Holographic display on the windshield” wins the CES innovation award, highlighting Mobis’ technical prowess in display technology.
SEOUL, South Korea – On December 9, 2025, Hyundai Mobis announced that it will showcase more than 30 mobility convergence technologies at CES 2026, which will be held in Las Vegas from January 6 to 9.
For CES 2026, the company will manage its booth as a private exhibition exclusively for invite-only clients. While engaging regular visitors is always beneficial, Mobis has decided to make CES a space specifically dedicated to significant business opportunities by inviting key clients from across North America.

Under the theme “Layer of Progress,” Hyundai Mobis aims to highlight how its technologies connect and evolve together. The company will showcase innovations in its core areas, including electronics, electrification, and chassis safety, specifically designed for customers worldwide. Senior executives from several major global automakers, including procurement and technology leaders, have already confirmed their attendance, demonstrating strong interest in the new lineup.
To facilitate further discussions, Hyundai Mobis chose a dedicated meeting room on the third floor of the West Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center as its exhibition space. This setup allows visiting executives to stay longer, explore the technologies in detail, and discuss potential collaborations in a specific context.
The key features are the new M.VICS 7.0 integrated cockpit solution and the X-by-Wire electronic control technology.
M.VICS, Mobis’ integrated cockpit platform, brings together its advanced infotainment technologies, now updated with version 7.0. Key features include a holographic display on the windshield that projects driving information directly onto the glass, a large 18.1-inch vertically expandable screen, and a redesigned center console interface that combines aesthetics with intuitive controls.
The integrated X-by-Wire solution should also attract attention. X-by-Wire enables electronic control of steering and braking without mechanical connections. By integrating both functions into a single controller, the solution optimizes driving dynamics. The system also includes built-in dual safety: in the event of a steering problem, the braking system can safely manage the vehicle.
In addition, Hyundai Mobis will showcase a range of next-generation technologies in electronics, electrification and chassis systems, including an augmented reality head-up display (AR-HUD), low-power display solutions and cost-effective and efficient EV drive systems, giving customers a comprehensive overview of its mobility innovations.
- “Holographic display on the windshield” wins the CES 2026 innovation award, highlighting Hyundai Mobis’ technical leadership.
The holographic windshield display (HWD) featured in M.VICS 7.0 received the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) Innovation Award at CES 2026 last month, further strengthening Hyundai Mobis’ global competitiveness in display technology. Each year, prior to the expo, the CTA recognizes outstanding technologies across various sectors. Mobis received the award in the “Advanced Mobility” category for its engineering excellence.
Holographic display on the windshield is a next-generation display technology that Hyundai Mobis is developing in collaboration with the German optics specialist Zeiss. It is the world’s first system to use a holographic film to transform the entire windshield into an ultra-wide display surface.
Thanks to this technology, drivers no longer need to look at the dashboard or other controls. Key driving information appears directly on the windshield, improving both safety and convenience. Passengers can display separate content (such as videos or games) that the driver cannot see, allowing them to enjoy their own infotainment experience without distracting the driver.
Hyundai Mobis is currently developing HWD technology in collaboration with major international clients to refine and perfect the system. The company aims to begin mass production in 2029 and position holographic windshield displays as one of its key strategic offerings.
Looking ahead, Hyundai Mobis plans to continue expanding its global order book. Through CES, international exhibitions, and presentation tours, the company will intensify its promotional efforts in key markets in North America and Europe. These activities are part of its goal to increase the share of global OEM sales in its core component manufacturing business to 40% by 2033.
