We had the pleasure of rediscovering actress Lucia Passaniti , the lead in season 2 of the series “A priori” on France 3 , alongside Florent Manaudou. The series has been available on the France TV platform since March 26th , airing every Tuesday since March 31st, 2026.

In this new season, her role expands with greater involvement in investigations and within the police station. We also appreciate her personal development throughout the series, without giving too much away. Lucia Passaniti portrays a more mature and assertive Iris.

Lucia Passaniti is a French television and film actress. She rose to fame thanks to her role as Noémie Matret in the soap opera Ici tout commence, and subsequently distinguished herself in several French dramas, notably on France 3. Her expressive acting and screen presence have made her a rising star of television.

Investigations are less arduous in the sunshine.

After the success of the first season, the police station team is back on duty… except for Victor, who has decided to celebrate his recent promotion by extending his vacation in the sun… only to return later! The squad then welcomes a new addition: the charming and mysterious Jim, who seems to have caught Iris’s eye…

In the balmy summer heat of the South, Iris and Jim defy expectations and challenge clichés to solve seemingly simple cases that invariably reveal their secrets and a cast of colorful characters. Through these investigations, the duo discovers a bond that may well extend beyond the confines of their professional relationship.

Faithful to their posts, their colleagues are equally busy. Pauline and Ryem strive to find a new balance after their failed attempt at reconciliation. David has to manage sole custody of his children, and Nesrine decides to pursue her ambitions. While Jules falls for the bad boy, Commissioner Janvert will have to make sacrifices to keep her precinct running smoothly while protecting her team. Since discovering that Victor might be her father, Iris decides to find out more… but this quest could unearth painful secrets…

Episode summaries

Episode 1 – Luxury can kill, at first glance.

With Victor deciding to extend his vacation in the islands, Iris meets a new arrival: the charming Jim, with whom a complicated relationship develops. Their first case involves the death of a real estate agent murdered in a sumptuous luxury villa, the jewel in his collection, which he was about to sell. It appears to be a burglary gone wrong.

Episode 2 – It seems the class council meeting went badly.

Iris and Jim investigate the death of a philosophy teacher at a prestigious preparatory school. Thrown from a window after a faculty meeting, the teacher had just fought to prevent one of her scholarship students from being expelled… What secret lies behind this staged suicide?

Episode 3 – Thalassotherapy is supposedly deadly

Iris and Jim investigate the death of a famous lawyer. He was found unconscious in the spa of a luxury hotel. The victim’s activism on behalf of women who are victims of sexual violence will lead the investigation toward a possible settling of scores.

Episode 4 – It seems that’s the end of the match

Iris and Jim investigate the death of a rugby coach who died under mysterious circumstances during a training session. With a crucial match for the club’s survival just days away, who could have wanted to harm the coach?

Episode 5 – It seems the adventurer did not survive

While Iris sets out to find her missing mother, she and Jim investigate the seemingly accidental death of a wealthy businessman in the wilderness. The man apparently fell to his death during a survival course with former classmates. But behind this nostalgic reunion, none of the participants were invited by chance.

Episode 6 – Apparently, there is no pilot on board the plane

Our police are investigating the asphyxiation of a pilot in training during a simulation exercise. They will discover that their victim’s fatal crash was no accident…

Episode 7 – It appears to be an investigation among dogs

Surrounded by adorable dogs, Iris and Jim investigate the murder of an animal caretaker at a shelter. She had grown attached to one animal, but in trying to save it, she put herself in danger…

Episode 8 – It appears to be a settling of scores among the Roma.

While Iris continues her search for her mother, she and Jim investigate the death of a Roma man, crushed under his car. The man was trying to ease tensions with his neighbors… at the risk of alienating members of his own community. Did he pay the price?

Episode 9 – At first glance, she didn’t have her sea legs

In a marina, Iris and Jim investigate the death of a wealthy yachtswoman, found drowned near her sailboat. She was about to set sail… but what was she running from?

Episode 10 – It seems the bull killed her

On the edge of the Camargue, Iris and Jim investigate the death of a bull herder. Their investigation will uncover some dark family secrets… Meanwhile, the rest of the squad is battling a hacker who is about to wreak havoc at the police station…
