The Motor Valley Fest, the prestigious open-air festival of the Emilia-Romagna Land of Motors now in its sixth edition, scheduled from 2 to 5 May in Modena, a UNESCO World Heritage city, has begun. Ducati is participating in the event, establishing itself as the motorcycle benchmark for all two-wheel enthusiasts.

The first day of the Festival got underway with the inaugural conference at the Pavarotti Theatre in Modena in the presence of Institutions, including Stefano Bonaccini, President of the Emilia-Romagna Region, and Adolfo Urso, Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy.

Following this, the Motor Valley Top Table was held, which saw Claudio Domenicali, Ducati CEO and President of Motor Valley Development Association, together with Italian and international automotive representatives, discussing the new challenges of the industry introduced by the arrival of AI and on strategies for sustainable mobility. At the end of the conference there was the traditional ribbon cutting, kicking off the packed schedule of events, including expos, parades, displays and exhibitions, in-depth round-tables, talent talks and much more.

“In an era characterized by a rapid succession of evolutions and different trends that have profoundly impacted the automotive industry, the Motor Valley Fest emerges as an essential moment of discussion and sharing” declared Claudio Domenicali, Ducati CEO and President of Motor Valley Development Association

“In this dynamic scenario, the Motor Valley with its companies continues to confirm itself as a benchmark in various fields, ranging from training to industry, up to and including tourism and the cultural sector. This success is the result of constant commitment on the part of all those deeply involved in the Motor Valley ecosystem – visionary entrepreneurs, highly specialized technicians and engineers and motoring enthusiasts – who, with their genius, their dedication and their talent, contribute day after day to enhancing and promoting the extraordinary richness of this unrivalled territory.”

Starting from Friday 3 May, in the Courtyard of Honour of Palazzo Ducale, home of the Modena Military Academy, enthusiasts will be able to admire four extraordinary Ducatis, to experience first-hand the historical heritage but also the present of the Borgo Panigale company. From the legendary Ducati 916 of 1994, Massimo Tamburini’s masterpiece famous for having redefined the standards of super sports bikes thanks to a revolutionary design and cutting-edge performance, to the motorcycle created in his honour 30 years later, the Panigale V4 SP2 30° Anniversario 916. Alongside, the Panigale V4 S, the pinnacle of the motorcycle manufacturer’s sporting engineering evolution and the Panigale V4 Bagnaia 2023 World Champion Replica, the collector’s motorcycle that pays homage to the conquest of the 2023 MotoGP title, inspired by the Giallo Ducati livery that characterized the Desmosedici GP of Francesco Bagnaia during the Misano Grand Prix.

Also on Friday 3 May, from 10:00 to 11:00 at the Teatro del Collegio di San Carlo in Modena, Ducati will host a Talent Talk conducted by Simone di Piazza, Head of Innovation and R&D Services Ducati. It will be a unique opportunity for young talents, students, professionals and researchers to get to know the motorcycle manufacturer up close and to discuss the future of the motoring world, exploring the emerging professions and skills required in the job market of today and tomorrow. For those unable to attend in person, the event will be streamed live on the event’s YouTube channel.
