The opening of Maison Boissière offers a magnificent Parisian experience. Located a stone’s throw from the Trocadéro, this hotel residence is a cocoon of comfort, mixing hotel services and the authenticity of a Parisian residence, it feels like home. By creating Maison Boissière, the first hotel residence of the BARNES group, the luxury brand wishes to offer its customers and all lovers of excellence, a unique place to stay, equipped with high-end hotel services, reflecting the French art of living… Certainly the first in a long series !

A successful real estate rehabilitation

In order to create its first hotel residence, BARNES bought two typically Haussmann buildings. On one side, the one located at 93 rue Lauriston, former property of Hervé de Charrette, politician and former Minister of Foreign Affairs. This building, at the time under lease, was rented by dignitaries of the Franco-Arab Chamber of Commerce.

On the other hand, the building at 49 rue Boissière, also acquired by BARNES, was previously occupied as a place of residence on the ground floor and 1st floor. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th were rented as offices. This building underwent two phases of elevation work: one in the 1950s and another in the 1970s.

In order to completely transform these two buildings into a chic hotel residence, the work lasted two and a half years during the Covid-19 lockdown period. These two independent buildings were connected by a common garden in order to move from one building to another. This is how a single hotel establishment was born, “Maison Boissière”. The main entrance, rue Boissière, does not display any particular notice, in order to ensure the discretion of this address, where certain “celebrities” come to go incognito. Access is possible via rue Lauriston, for customers who have already settled in and do not need to go through reception.

To carry out this operation, BARNES surrounded himself with Philippe Daraux, founder and artistic director of Mis en Demeure, and Manon Mallac Koenig, decorator, under the supervision of Heidi Barnes.

Reinvented by designers Pierre Frey and Broquenié, the decoration of Maison Boissière is inspired by the atmosphere of boudoirs, these cozy meeting places with deep, powdery colors. Each object has been carefully selected, so many details that make up the grace of a Parisian refuge.

Generous volumes, brightness, unobstructed views, delicate and sober lines, each accommodation is a promise of a moment of pure relaxation. The small, intimate lounges or the Italian garden, sheltered from the hustle and bustle of the capital, await residents at tea time.

Finally, the real estate group has joined forces with the beauty brand Sisley in order to offer its customers a wide range of products.

BARNES worked in partnership with Palatino Hospitality, a company specializing in the design and manufacturing of products for luxury hotels (operational equipment, slippers, carpets, laundry bags, etc.).

A prestigious hotel residence

In the heart of the 16th arrondissement, a stone’s throw from the Trocadéro, the Eiffel Tower, the capital’s must-see addresses and the most emblematic monuments, the new BARNES hotel residence offers sixteen apartments from 45 to 125 m², including four exceptional accommodations with terrace and/or balcony.

In a strong Art Deco style, the apartments have been imagined as peaceful, warm and unique places, where it is good to settle down for a short, medium or long stay.

Four signature apartments with the names of writers offer unique services:

  • The Antoine de Saint-Exupéry apartment: 110 m², two bedrooms;
  • The Ernest Hemingway apartment: 125 m², one bedroom, an orangery, a fireplace, a wine cellar and a terrace;
  • The Sacha Guitry apartment: 95 m², double exposure, fresco in the living room, stone structure engraved in the style of palm leaves and a terrace;
  • The Jules Verne apartment: 110 m², one bedroom and a large terrace with a view of the Eiffel Tower.

Top-of-the-range equipment and privileged services

Each accommodation has one or more bedrooms with King size bed, a private living room, an elegant and contemporary kitchen, fully equipped, an aesthetic bathroom with clean lines, a pantry and a private wine cellar for some.

Upscale amenities include Wi-Fi, cable TV, bathrobes, and a range of Sisley products.

Catering is available on request, either in the garden or in your room. BARNES will soon have a new offer to change the “classic” version of the mini-bar, by offering quality products, jars, fresh pasta, etc. and a card to order meals from the comfort of your apartment.
Finally, a gourmet breakfast service is provided every morning and consists of delicious Ladurée products, in the reception lounge or in the Italian garden.
