The Alambret Communication agency is pleased to begin a new collaboration with the Palais de Lomé, the first center of art and culture in Togo.
A unique initiative in West Africa, the Palais de Lomé is the result of the transformation of the former seat of German and French governors into a center of art and culture. Inaugurated in 2019 under the direction of Sonia Lawson, the Palais de Lomé wishes to offer the entire Togolese public an opportunity for cultural reappropriation after a past marked by exclusion. Today it presents the best of African artistic creation and its diasporas through a series of exhibitions, shows, meetings and events.
An architectural, heritage and natural jewel, the Palais de Lomé is located in an 11-hectare park which extends from the city center to the Ocean. Home to large century-old tropical trees, it contains significant biodiversity, providing a sanctuary for endangered botanical species as well as an extraordinary landscape for visitors to see.
